SlySoft promised the BD+ would be cracked by the end of 2007, and the company was on the money. Blu-ray’s one DRM “advantage” over HD DVD has apparently disappeared, as the newest beta of AnyDVD reportedly can rip discs protected with BD+. Another case of Sony being idiots.

Israeli Role Model Program for Deaf-Blind Draws Int’l Attention

One of the most important therapeutic tools for helping children with Usher Syndrome – the leading cause of deaf-blindness in Israel – may be role models who have the same condition. A unique program initiated, developed and run by the Center for Deaf-Blind Persons in Tel Aviv, pairs children who have Usher Syndrome with mentors in their twenties.
